Kia Ora (Hello) my name is Tokowha. I am one of 12 children. My father is 3/4 Maori, my mother is a full Maori.

I have set up Te Waka South Pacific Tours to enable you, the tourist, to see our beautiful country with a minimum of effort for a maximum of enjoyment.

Transport, accommodation, meals and guides are all included in our tours and the price will pleasantly surprise you. We will show you some of New Zealands finest natural treasures and share with you the knowledge that was past down to me by my Elders. We are able to offer you the opportunity to experience the following activities:

1. Marae stay (Maori village), eat and sleep the ancient Maori way.

2. Soak in a natural hot pool under a star cladded sky (with some luck!).

3. Hike over the famous Tongariro Crossing, or climba live Volcano.

4. Kayak (canoe) the beautiful Whanganui River.

5. Learn about Maori herbal medicine and culture.

6. Learn about the Spiritual Connection.

7. Tailor made tours are also available.

Tours are adjustable to any age and fitness level.

Due to the one to one concept of our tours, groups are kept very small with a minimum of 4 people to a maximum of 12 people per guide. It is therefore that bookings are essential and limited.
